Frankenbike
Well, I finally did it. I took some pictures of my bike.
I managed to connect with a guy who is a motorcycle mechanic. He asked to see some pics of my bike. I was concerned for a while. I had spoken with some people that said you can't just weld two different bikes together unless they are 'sleeved'. The only way to know if they are sleeved is to do it yourself, or get a certified welder to do it. Otherwise, you risk having the bike fall apart from underneath you as you are doing 55mph. There is also a possibility that unless the welding is done by a certified welder, that the bike won't pass safety inspection/ not certifiable.
The motorcycle mechanic said from the photos that the frame looked okay, but it looks like I might need to get some new rear engine mounts. They might even have to be custom made. The engine is another matter though. He would have to look at the engine to see if it's viable, of course. The custom made handlebars are crappy and need to be replaced. There is no speedometer/ tachometer yet, not is there an airbox or side covers.
