Hi everyone. Im crossposting this in several motorcycle tribes, as it may be of interest to some of us motorcyclists.

For clarity, I am not affiliated with this product in any way. Other than it sounds potentially useful for some people.

Found this website on either BARF or Pashnit forum a couple months ago.
Have yet to buy one myself, though likely soon will be doing so, so cant speak from direct experience with their reliability or workmanship.

  • This definitely looks like a good way of extending one's range. I always carry a couple of the 33 oz MSR fuel bottles tucked away in my luggage when traveling. I've never had them leak even when carried on their side through hot and cold for extended periods. However, when opening, they always seem to have built up pressure, so you want to leave several inches of space under the cap and point them away from yourself (and your bike) when opening. I consider them more as a contingency against my spacing out the fuel than actual range extenders.

These little aluminum bottles are carried by lots of places with camping gear. Also at:

    • I use a MSR fuel bottle as an extra when doing long rides too. But after looking at some maps on my last trip, realized that it wouldn't be enough to get to a gas station, especially when the bike's packed like a mule. So resorted in buying a 5 L jerry can ( which does fit in my left side case ). I will stap it against the back of my travel bag - resting it on the little plastic rack ( only 5 Kg allowed on it, so that should be OK ).

But I will tuck it into an old back pack, to camouflage it, 'cause they are literally stealing any and all fuel where available. They even went as far as pulling up to a school, in the dead of night, and pumping 3.000 L of diesel out of a ( locked ) storage tank. Resulting in kids having to keep their cold weather gear on, in class...
