28 degrees out side this morning. . . .
Guess who rode in?
DRZ had a bit of trouble turning over since she’s been sitting in the frigid air fer the past week without any love.
The sun poked out from behind the clouds so I threw on the thermals and now have the windburn & smile face on today!
Some may call this insane while others will understand.

I usually set my limit at 35, much colder and my hands and feet don't do what I want them to when I finaly get off the freeway. -

Wed, December 19, 2007 - 11:06 AMIt's been 40-44F here. I ride in it about an hour at about 80-90 mph every morning. Supposedly, that translates to a wind chill of about 10F, but I find that layering up with good insulation, and topping that off with thick leather keeps me warm. My hands are usually numb by the end of the ride. I keep meaning to pick up some heated grips.
Watch out for ice. Anything below 39F is considered ice danger.

i rode monday - low 20's and snow on the ground (but not on the road) Fingers were numb after 10 miles.
Brrr... But it sure was good to get out and ride!

It was a balmy 17.6 °F ( got a converter on my new cell phone, so you don't have to guess how many °F the °C are :) . About an half an Inch of ice covered the landscape... So Nick, you're not insane, apparently I am ... .
